Entry One | Before There Was a Book!

Dear Friend,
If you had met me a few years ago and asked whether I would one day write a book, I would probably have laughed. Not because I do not love books. But because I never imagined that my own life would become one. At the time, I was not thinking about becoming an author. I was trying to navigate life the best way I knew how.
Like so many people, I had dreams, responsibilities, moments of joy, and seasons that quietly tested me. Some days felt light and hopeful, and others left me asking questions I did not yet have answers to. I did not realise it then, but life was teaching me long before I understood the lessons.
It was shaping my heart in ways I could not see. Looking back now, I smile because I can see what I could not see then. I realise life was writing this story long before I ever picked up a pen. The lessons came first, the understanding came later, and the book came much later.
We are often so focused on getting through today that we do not realise today is quietly shaping tomorrow.
It is amazing how life prepares us for things we never imagine.
Today, as I prepare to share Positive Lane with the world, I cannot help but smile at how beautifully every chapter of my life led me here.
Maybe your story is unfolding in ways you cannot yet understand too.
Perhaps one day, you will look back and realise every step has or had a purpose.
I hope you will remember this: Just because you cannot see the purpose today does not mean there is not one. Sometimes life only makes sense when we have the chance to look back.
This is where my story begins, not with a book.
But with a life that slowly taught me the meaning of hope and resilience, and how to discover who I truly was. Somewhere within my story... You will discover a little of your own.
💚 From My Heart
I have come to believe that every person has a story worth telling. Not because every story is extraordinary, but because every story has the power to encourage, comfort, or inspire someone else. Maybe yours does too.
Until next time… thank you for walking this lane with me.
With gratitude,
Leshma
